The knife had a mini light bulb on it so when she lowered the knife the light shown on it.

cause: there was a candle on the knife and when she lowered the light made the pumpkin bright.
Cause: The pumkin was glowing because there was a light inside of it and when something gets close to it it starts to glow!

The cause is that there was a light on the knife that was put down next to the pumpkin.
the cause is that she found a magic pumpkin in her pumkin patch and took it in to make pumkin pie. as she lowered her khife to cut it it started to glow to warn her not to cut or it will kill her.

I think she is cutting a jack o lantern and the pumpkin is on fire.
The cause is the women put a light bulb in the pumpkin and made a button that connects to the light bulb in the pumpkin.
the pumpkin was magic and when the lady lowered the knife , it got brighter.
